Guide
Find a nail shape that feels like you
A quick guide to shape, length and everyday wear.
1 min readNail care journal
Start with the length you enjoy wearing, then choose the outline. A reference photo helps, but the finished shape should work with your nails and your daily routine.
The shapes at a glance
- Round: a softly curved tip.
- Square: straight sides and a flat tip with defined corners.
- Squoval: a square outline with softer corners.
- Almond: tapered sides ending in a rounded point.
- Coffin: tapered sides with a flat tip.
- Stiletto: a pronounced, pointed tip.
Choose for your everyday life
Think about work, hobbies and the length you are used to. Tell your artist if you prefer a shorter set or softer corners. Some shapes need more length to create the look in your reference photo.
