Questions, answered plainly

These are the questions our front desk in Voorhees Township fields every day. Where the honest answer is inconvenient — we do not publish a price list, and Saturday afternoons are busy — it says so.

What Voorhees Township guests ask

Still unsure about something? Call (856) 888-4779 — someone on the floor will tell you straight.

Where exactly is the Voorhees salon?
We are at 700 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd, Ste 19-20, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043. Call (856) 888-4779 if you need directions.
What are your opening hours in Voorhees Township?
Please call (856) 888-4779 — we would rather you reached someone than trusted hours we had not verified.
Where in Eagle Plaza are you?
Suite 19-20 at 700 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043 — on the plaza frontage with parking directly outside. Call (856) 888-4779 if you cannot spot us.
Do you do lashes here?
Yes. This branch offers eyelash extensions alongside the nail floor, so lashes, brows and a manicure can be one appointment rather than three visits.
Should I come to Voorhees or to Marlton?
Whichever is closer. They are about ten minutes apart on Route 73 with the same training and the same standards. Voorhees does lash work; Marlton is the larger floor and takes most of the detailed nail-art bookings.
Do you take walk-ins, or do I need an appointment?
Both options can work, but same-day availability changes by salon and by hour. If you need a specific artist or time, booking ahead is strongly recommended.
How do you sterilize your tools?
Files and buffers are single-use — they are opened in front of you and discarded afterwards. Reusable metal implements are sterilized between every guest, and pedicure liners are changed for each visit. If you would like to see how it is done, ask; it is a fair question and we would rather answer it than have you wonder.
How long does a gel manicure last?
Most guests get two to three weeks before regrowth at the cuticle becomes noticeable. Usually the color still looks good at that point — it is the gap at the base, not chipping, that brings people back in.
Should I get gel or dip powder?
Dip powder is stronger and typically lasts three to four weeks, which suits nails that split or peel at the free edge. Gel is thinner and closer to the look of natural polish. If your nails are healthy and strong, gel usually looks better; if they peel, dip acts like a splint across the whole nail.
Can I bring a photo of the nails I want?
Please do — most of our guests do. A photo settles length, shape, finish and color density in one glance. Your artist will tell you honestly what carries over to your nail shape and what needs adjusting.
Do you do children's manicures and pedicures?
Yes. We offer gentler kids' manicures and pedicures for guests under ten, using regular polish rather than gel. Children are welcome in the salon — just let the front desk know when you arrive so we can seat you somewhere that works.
Can you take a group — a birthday or bridal party?
Yes, and this is one of the advantages of a floor this size: several pedicure stations and several artists can be held at the same time so a group is seated together rather than in shifts. Call (856) 574-4478 in advance so the chairs are reserved.
How do I remove gel or dip at home?
The honest answer is: try not to. Peeling or prying gel off takes the top layers of your natural nail with it, and that is the real cause of the thin, bendy nails people blame on gel. A soak-off at the salon takes about fifteen minutes for gel and twenty for dip, and leaves the nail intact.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — both in the salon and online as e-gift cards, which arrive by email and can be used at any Belle Palace location. There is a link on our promotions page.
