A little preparation for your next nail appointment
What to mention when booking, what to bring and what to ask before you begin.

You do not need to know every product name before booking. A few details about your current nails and the look you want make it easier to ask for the right appointment.
Start with what is on your nails
Mention any gel, dip powder or extensions you are wearing, even if they were applied elsewhere. If you do not know the product, say so. Ask whether removal is a separate service rather than assuming it is included.
Save a reference, then make it yours
One or two clear photos are enough. Point out what you like in each: a soft color, a particular shape or a small detail. A photo is a starting point for a conversation, not a promise of an exact copy. Ask what can be achieved with your chosen service and length.
Talk through the details before starting
- Confirm the shape and length you want to wear day to day.
- Ask whether nail art, removal or extra length changes the price.
- Mention any time constraints and check the expected appointment length.
- Ask what care and maintenance your chosen set will need.
Check the salon and appointment details
Before leaving home, check the branch address and your appointment date and time. If your plans change or you need a different service, contact that salon directly. Keep your reference photos handy so you can show your artist what you have in mind.
